Supporting the next generation of talent

Maiden Rising STAR

"I am really inspired by female role models such as Georgia Elwiss"

Name: Eva, aged 12, started playing cricket 3 years ago
Cricket Story: I play for both my school and Warwick Cricket ClubMy biggest achievement so far is my first hattrick in a school fixture last week, and playing at IASPs (Independent Association of Prep Schools) finals. My goal is to achieve a county place in year 8/9 and join the Girls Complete Cricket Academy in 2024/25

Why do you love Maiden and wanted to be an ambassador? I would like to make sure that I can encourage as many girls as possible to get as excited about cricket as I am. I am really inspired by female role models such as Georgia Elwiss and hope in future to be able to be that role model for others. On a basic level I know how hard it is to buy whites which both fit a girl and also fit my age as I am between kids and adults' sizes at the moment - I also need to look good!!

Eva is supported by Gateley: "We are a proud supporter of Maiden Cricket through the Rising Stars initiative and truly inspired by the innovative spirit and passion of young visionaries, Honor and Cat Black, to transform the world of cricket by contributing to a future where every girl can step onto the cricket field with confidence, dressed in kit that is designed specifically for them. Their drive to transform cricket into a sport that welcomes all, by providing the future generation of female cricketers with specifically tailored attire, resonates deeply with our own aspirations to cultivate an inclusive atmosphere and nurtures an environment that embraces diversity and equality"
