Supporting the next generation of talent

Maiden Rising STAR

"One day I want cricket to be my job!"

Name: Tillie aged 12 started playing cricket 3 years ago and also plays Hockey and Stoolball.
Cricket Story: I play for my school, St Philip Howard Barnham as well as Arundel Colts, Bognor Ladies. I also play on the Sussex Pathway and one day I want cricket to be my job!

Why do you love Maiden and wanted to be an ambassador? I love cricket, my whole family play. I play with my mum in a ladies team and none of our kits fit well because they are meant for men.  I hate wearing my whites when I play boys cricket as they are see through! It's important we should feel comfortable.

Tillie is supported by Gateley: "We are a proud supporter of Maiden Cricket through the Rising Stars initiative and truly inspired by the innovative spirit and passion of young visionaries, Honor and Cat Black, to transform the world of cricket by contributing to a future where every girl can step onto the cricket field with confidence, dressed in kit that is designed specifically for them. Their drive to transform cricket into a sport that welcomes all, by providing the future generation of female cricketers with specifically tailored attire, resonates deeply with our own aspirations to cultivate an inclusive atmosphere and nurtures an environment that embraces diversity and equality"
