"Why did I need to wear men's kit for years?"

Name: Mia aged 16, plays for Cambridgeshire County

Cricket Story: I started playing 9 years ago and I love playing for my county now especially opening the batting! I hope to play at a higher level and continue to represent county cricket for many more years! 

Why do you love Maiden and wanted to be an ambassador?  I came across the Instagram account and it really resonated with me. I have had to play cricket for years in men's kit which sometimes affected me in my performance and how I felt on the field. I want to change the game for younger players now and encourage more girls to play cricket!
