Name: Charlotte aged 23, has been playing for a whopping 19 years!

Cricket Story: Living in West Yorkshire, I've played cricket as long as I can remember and currently play in both a men's league on a Saturday and a women's league on a Sunday. I'd love to work on my leg spin bowling and hopefully make it to a county development side. I decided to set up "Is That Middle?" as an online digital magazine to celebrate everything about women's cricket. This involves sharing international and professional news, as well as opinion pieces, and top tips and advice to boost women's confidence getting into cricket.

Why do you love Maiden and wanted to be an ambassador? I'd love to promote the Maiden Cricket mission, as a woman that has grown up playing cricket. Women's cricket is so important to me, and it's why I set up Is "That Middle"

Name: Vani, aged 17, been playing for 8 years!

Cricket Story: This year I have created the first ever cricket team at my school which is all girls, so I really want to promote cricket among girls. All girls should feel comfortable when playing cricket without being judged, as I can use my experience playing with boys knowing how it feels.

Why do you love Maiden and wanted to be an ambassador? I’ve grown up playing boys and men’s cricket until county cricket, and since then I’ve created a girls' team and school it's been a vital part in forming a now established girls set up at my old club, so I think I am perfect for engaging young developing girls into the sport. I am Indian Asian, which is good for diversity.

Name: Lucy, aged 17, has been playing for 9 years and plays for Scotland.

Cricket Story: I currently play for Scotland u19 winter squad and my dream is to play in the Women's World Cup representing Scotland, I help coach in my school's junior division as I want to give back to my school community and encourage more girls to start cricket at an early age.

Why do you love Maiden and wanted to be an ambassador? I have always and still face challenges with equality in sport and am passionate for a change for good. I often get paired with boys or looked down on because I'm a girl playing the sport and want to break boundaries.

Name: Ashneet aged 20, has been playing for 9 years

Cricket Story: I currently play for Hursley Park CC, Surrey Women & Hampshire Women. My younger sister also plays cricket for Hampshire and Hursley park cricket club. She is 12 years old. My biggest achievement so far is scoring 115 in the southern prem. My dream would be to represent England and become the best female cricketer of all time!

Why do you love Maiden and wanted to be an ambassador? I want to inspire future generations of girls and women to take part in sport and follow their passion and dreams. I would also like to represent my family and Punjabi background to show other brown and ethnic girls of what they can achieve with hard work, determination and dedication. To be a role model to all girls and women.
