Lucy

A wicketkeeper for Merstham Cricket Club in Surrey, and a student at Reigate Parish Church Primary School.

Lucy was named Managers’ Player of the Season, a nod to her effort, teamwork, and love for the game. She thrives on the challenge of being the only girl in boys’ teams, stays positive under pressure, and brings energy to every match.

She became a Maiden ambassador because girls deserve kit that fits and a pathway that welcomes them. Lucy wants to help her club grow its girls and ladies section, encourage more friends to pick up a bat and gloves, and show that trying your hardest, having fun, and feeling comfortable can go together.
