Tillie Tomlinson

Tillie

A talented all-rounder playing cricket alongside hockey and stoolball.

Tillie began playing cricket three years ago and now represents her school, St Philip Howard Barnham, as well as Arundel Colts, Bognor Ladies, and the Sussex Pathway. She dreams of making cricket her career one day and is building her skills across both mixed and girls’ teams. Cricket is a family passion, and Tillie even plays alongside her mum in a ladies’ team.

She joined Maiden because she believes girls should feel comfortable and confident in their kit. Tillie knows first-hand that playing in men’s whites often means a poor fit, and she dislikes wearing see-through trousers when playing boys’ cricket. With Maiden, she is proud to represent a brand that is making kit designed for girls, so every player can focus on the game, not their clothing.

Eva

A promising player representing her school and Warwick Cricket Club.

Eva began playing cricket three years ago and is already making an impact. Her biggest achievement so far is taking her first hat-trick in a school fixture and competing at the Independent Association of Prep Schools finals. Her next goals are to earn a county place and to join the Girls Complete Cricket Academy in 2024/25.

She joined Maiden to help encourage as many girls as possible to get excited about cricket. Inspired by role models such as Georgia Elwiss, Eva hopes to one day become that same kind of role model for others. She knows the challenge of finding whites that fit both her shape and size, being between kids’ and adults’ ranges, and she wants to look good and feel confident on the field.
