Amelia has been playing cricket for three years and already represents Gowerton Cricket Club and Cricket Wales South. Her commitment to developing her craft has made her a dependable bowler and a valued member of every squad she plays in.

On the field, Amelia brings focus, consistency and a growing sense of leadership. She is building both her skills and her confidence, and she enjoys supporting younger players through captaincy responsibilities and informal coaching within her club.

Her goals extend beyond her own game. Amelia wants to see a stronger, more visible community of women and girls in cricket. She hopes to encourage more players to get involved, create welcoming environments in her local area and take on leadership roles that help shape the future of the women’s game. Setting a positive example for younger girls is central to her ambition.

Amelia joined Maiden because the mission mirrors what motivates her. She believes deeply in creating comfortable, supportive spaces for women and girls in cricket and sees Maiden as a brand that empowers players and champions their experiences. Becoming an ambassador gives her the chance to connect with others across the cricket community, promote the sport she loves and play an active part in driving progress for the next generation.
