Betty

Betty is a passionate cricketer who plays across school, club and county cricket. She represents Puddletown Cricket Club, plays for The Thomas Hardye School and competes at county level for Dorset.

She has enjoyed an exceptional year, receiving the 2025 Rising Star Award at the Dorset Cricket Board Cricket Collective Awards and the 2025 National Rising Star Award at the England and Wales Cricket Collective Awards. These achievements reflect both her talent and the positive impact she has within the game.

Betty is motivated by a desire to promote women’s and girls’ cricket and to give others the same enjoyment she has experienced. She is passionate about sharing the confidence that comes from wearing kit designed specifically for female players and believes every aspect of cricket — from playing and umpiring to scoring, fundraising and even making the teas — can bring excitement and belonging. She is also determined to inspire girls to have the confidence to play alongside boys and men where opportunities in the women’s game are still growing.

As a Maiden Ambassador, Betty is proud to support a brand that champions confidence, inclusion and opportunity for the next generation of female cricketers.
