Elouisa
Bowler, School and Club Cricket, Leighton Park, Odiham and Greywell, Hampshire
Elouisa has been playing cricket for seven years and has shown incredible resilience and leadership, from playing in boys’ teams to captaining her girls' team. She has been a trailblazer for girls in cricket, promoting the sport and pushing through sexist comments to keep striving for her goals.
On the pitch, Elouisa is a determined and skillful bowler who has proven herself in both girls’ and boys' teams. Her leadership abilities shine, and she has consistently demonstrated the strength to continue playing and growing, despite any challenges she’s faced.
Her future goals are clear: she wants to become the vice-captain of the boys’ team at school, further promote girls’ cricket, and coach both boys and girls in the sport, with a focus on bowling. She also dreams of making mixed cricket more acceptable in schools, proving that girls belong in the game, and inspiring the next generation of female cricketers.
Elouisa joined Maiden because she believes in the importance of having girls' cricket clothing and appreciates the brand’s dedication to making girls feel confident and represented in the sport. She wants to spread the word that girls can play cricket too, and that they are just as good as the boys. She’s passionate about promoting Maiden and is excited to help elevate the confidence of girls in cricket through the brand.
