Elsie

Bowler and All Rounder

Elsie has been playing cricket for four years and already competes across school, club and county cricket. A bowler and all rounder, she loves being involved in every part of the game and giving her all whenever she’s on the field.

She represents Westbourne House School, plays for Chichester Cricket Club and competes at county level for West Sussex. Highlights so far include being named Player of the Day at the Pelican Cup and being part of a winning IAPS team.

What Elsie enjoys most about cricket is the girls game itself. She loves the team environment, the friendships and the sense of belonging that comes with it. Her goal is simple but powerful, to keep enjoying cricket and continue playing at a high level.

Elsie is a great example of what happens when girls are given the space and support to thrive in sport, playing with confidence, purpose and pride as part of the Maiden community.
