Freya has been playing cricket for four years and already holds a leadership role as vice captain for the U15 Staffordshire County team. Balancing school life at Sandwell Academy with club and county commitments, she’s quickly becoming a name to watch in her age group.

On the pitch, Freya is a true all rounder, focused, determined, and always looking to push her game to the next level. Her ambition is crystal clear, she wants to become a professional cricketer, not just to play at the highest level, but to pave the way for others.

For Freya, cricket is about more than stats and trophies. She’s passionate about sharing the struggles that women and girls still face in the game, and she’s here to help change that.

She joined Maiden because the mission matches her mindset, championing visibility, challenging the norm, and making space for girls to be heard, supported, and taken seriously.
