Jessie
Wicketkeeper, Knowle and Dorridge CC, Warwickshire, Arden School
Jessie has been playing cricket for four years and is already established behind the stumps, now into her second season keeping for Warwickshire. She balances county and club commitments with studies at Arden School, building a reputation for work rate, game awareness and leadership.
On the pitch, Jessie is a communicator and a controller of tempo. Quick feet, soft hands and a clear voice keep bowlers locked in, while sharp catches and clean takes set standards for the field. She studies the craft, learns from top keepers in her network, and takes pride in the details that win big moments.
Her ambition is clear, become a professional wicketkeeper and inspire more players to choose the position, a role that is often overlooked but central to every team.
Jessie joined Maiden to help promote girls and women’s cricket at every level, and to champion kit designed for girls that supports the unique demands of keeping. She wants more young players to see how cool wicketkeeping is, and to feel confident stepping into the gloves.
