Irena captains her women’s team as both an opening batter and wicketkeeper, leading with passion and commitment. For her, cricket is about inclusion, fitness, and joy, and she is determined to help more women discover the game and feel welcome in it.

She became a Maiden ambassador because she believes kit should never be a barrier. Having seen how poor design can hold girls back, Irena is proud to support a brand that is solving the problem and giving players the confidence to perform at their best.
