Kelly
All Rounder

Kelly has been playing cricket for 16 years and has been part of some of the most significant moments in the modern women’s game. An all rounder, she represents Kent and has played a key role in the generation that helped shape professional women’s cricket in England.

In 2020, Kelly became one of the first professional cricketers in the country, a milestone that marked a turning point for the women’s game. She was also Cap Number One for Essex County Cricket Club, a moment that holds special significance in her career and in the wider history of women’s cricket.

After experiencing both highs and lows, Kelly’s focus now is on enjoying the remainder of her playing career and appreciating what she still has to give to the game. Alongside that, she is driven by a desire to leave cricket in a better place than when she first joined, recognising the progress made while knowing there is still much more to be done.

Kelly is motivated by sharing her story openly, using her experiences to inspire others to get involved in cricket and to help drive meaningful change for the next generation of women and girls in the sport.
