Lara is a committed cricketer who plays club cricket across Thriplow CC, Nowton CC, MCC (Probationer) and the Free Foresters, while also representing Cambridgeshire at county level.

She has enjoyed a number of standout achievements, including starting a girls’ section at her club, winning both girls’ and women’s leagues, and vice-captaining her men’s side this summer. Lara has previously captained County Age Group and county women’s teams in both Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. After welcoming her son in late 2024, she has taken a short pause from county cricket for the 2026 season, but remains deeply involved in the game.

Lara is motivated by her own experiences of growing up in male-dominated cricket environments, often as the only girl in the team. Now working in female cricket and leading as a coach at her club, she is passionate about growing the women’s and girls’ game and promoting brands that genuinely support female players.
