Olimpia first discovered cricket through evening games with her husband and quickly fell in love with the sport. What began as a way to unwind has grown into captaining a mixed intraclub team and helping to inspire a surge of new players in the women’s section at her club. She is passionate about building a community where cricket feels joyful, social, and open to everyone.

She became a Maiden ambassador because she believes in inclusion and wants to show women that cricket is for them too. For Olimpia, Maiden represents pride, visibility, and the celebration of female players, and she is proud to play her part in helping others discover the game she loves.
